DVD Drive Installation

There have been several advancements in the technology with the passage of time. STEP 1: Shutdown the system and unplug it from the power source.

STEP 3: Locate the IDE channel for connecting the DVD ROM drive and install it in its own IDE channel

Note: You can put your old CD ROM drive to the slave and mark the new DVD ROM as master.

STEP 4: Fix the new DVD ROM in free bay and screw it, if necessary, into its respective location. Connect the DVD drive with the help of the data cable supplied with the new drive and plug it into the power cable.

STEP 5: Plug the cabinet back to its positions and turn on your PC.
